Controversial alt-right Breitbart technology editor Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak at a school in Canterbury, Kent, the Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys. Mr. Yiannopoulos had attended the school as a child. The speech was cancelled by the UK Government’s Department for Education counter extremist unit.
More than 220 students had signed up (with parental consent) for the Yiannopoulos speech. Mr. Yiannopoulos said that the school was bullied into cancelling the event.
