Numerous news outlets are reporting that CNN aired a half hour of hard core pornography on Thanksgiving. CNN viewers expecting to see Anthony Bourdain’s travel show “Parts Unknown” around 10PM EST were showed instead a half hour of transsexual porn.
Luckily for CNN, the broadcast snafu was limited to RCN, a Boston area cable provider. RCN, however, does have a substantial reach with approximately 300,000 subscribers, so in spite of CNN’s low ratings, there were inevitably some viewers who would have seen the pornographic broadcast.
Given that a show “Parts Unknown” was replaced with transsexual porn leads to the suspicion that the programming snafu was an intentional act of sabotage.
