President Obama weighed in on fake news sites in a news conference in Germany this week. The President noted that fake news make it difficult for people to “discriminate between serious arguments and propaganda”.
The President also noted that much fake news is packaged nicely and “it looks the same when you see it on a Facebook page or turn on your television.” While criticizing fake news, the President offered no solutions other than to remark, “We’ll figure it out”.
